How to cite a computer program in Harvard
To cite a computer program in a reference entry in Harvard style include the following elements:
- Rightsholder of the computer program: Give the name of the entity or individual that owns the rights of the program. If there is no rightsholder, place the title first.
- Year of release: Give the year in round brackets.
- Title of the computer program: Give the title in italics, capitalizing all initial letters.
- Version: Give the version if available.
- Availability: Give the name of the distributor, address or order number if available.
Here is the basic format for a reference list entry of a computer program in Harvard style:
